ZAPP Academy Summer Dance Camp is a week long, dance-intensive day camp for intermediate dancers age 11 and older. The camp is held at the studio of On Your Toes School of Dance located at 645 River Road, Suite 4 in Eugene, Oregon. Included in the curriculum will be instruction in hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, technique, swing, and repertory.
Camp Instructors
Founder and director of ZAPP Academy of Dance and the internationally acclaimed, Zreliak Artistic Performing Productions (ZAPP), Cindy Zreliak will once, again, be the head instructor in this year's camps. She will be assisted by Arianna Zreliak.
Ages
Campers must be 11 years or older and intermediate level.
Typical day at camp
10:00 - warm up and across the floor
10:30 - hip-hop
11:00 - lyrical
11:30 - swing/musical theater
12:00 - break
12:30 - review of previously taught material
1:00 - day ends
Dress for Camp
Shoes to dance in may be jazz shoes or just gym shoes. Clothing should be non-restrictive to allow for ease of movement. NO JEANS!! Sweats, shorts, clothes that you would wear to a gym class would be appropriate.
Observers
Observers are allowed the first 15 min. and the last 15 minutes of each day.
Demonstration
The last 1/2 hour on Friday at the end of the session will be a demonstration of what campers have learned. Parents and friends are encouraged to attend.
Misc.
Campers will need a light snack for the break and something to drink.

$100 per dancer
